We are hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician for our community in Oak Creek, Wisconsin.
Starting at $22/hr and up, depending on experience plus bonus!

A Typical Workday May Include:
  • Completing preventative, predictive, and reactive residential maintenance throughout the facility including apartment turns
  • Diagnosing problems and repairs in the areas of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, swimming pool, carpentry, dry walling, exterior structural, and appliances.
  • Confirming that work order requests are responded to promptly and professionally.
  • Ensuring residential units have been turned in a timely and efficient manner, as well as determining if work has been completed properly.
  • Providing excellent customer service to prospective and current residents and promoting a quality living experience.
  • Providing on-call service when scheduled and performs emergency maintenance work when required.
  • Inspecting buildings and grounds to ensure safety and cleanliness, and addresses items that need to be repaired.
  • Assisting Manager with scheduling and communicating with vendors and contractors.
  • Partnering with Manager to obtain bids from outside contractors, as well as oversee contractor work for completeness.
  • Assisting with purchasing maintenance supplies for the property while staying within the planned budget.
  • Accurately preparing and submitting property invoices in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Communicate with supervisor regarding the overall maintenance function of the property.
  • Participate in Company-provided training such as fair housing, safety, non-discrimination, and harassment prevention.
  • Comply with all Company National Standards, applicable health and safety rules and regulations, as well as applicable local, state, and federal laws.
  • Understanding and adhering to all safety policies and procedures
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
  • Other duties as assigned
What You Will Need:
  • ​​​​3-5 years of maintenance experience
  • Ability to use electronic communications professionally and efficiently
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Strong administration, organization and communication skills
  • Experience in all facets of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall and appliance repairs
  • EPA certification, preferred
  • Must have excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of pool service/maintenance preferred
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is required
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and work 8 hour standing shifts
  • Must be available for on call emergencies
