This position is for a full-time Marketing Coordinator to work for EAH Corporate in San Rafael, CA. This is hybrid remote. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s or equivalent experience in a related field such as: Graphic or Communication Design, Digital Media, Media Arts, Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Business Administration, or Urban Planning. Must have at least 1 year of marketing design experience; design experience at an affordable property management environment, a plus. Salary range: $24.00 - $36.00 per hour; hiring range for new employees is generally $24.00 -$30.00 per hour, DOE. Please note an offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate and the current salary level of individuals working at EAH in a similar role.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Marketing Coordinator works with the Marketing Manager on a wide range of marketing initiatives including data maintenance, collateral production, digital marketing strategies, and website up- keep. This position will also provide support and analysis for new business. Understands and supports EAH Housing’s mission and Core Values.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Internal Marketing Support:

  • Serves as marketing liaison with Real Estate Management Department. Coordinates marketing processes related to Property Transitions.
  • Creates comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to each property vacancy, considering target demographics, market trends, and property features.
  • Attends all Property Transition meetings. Identifies tasks and inputs into Asana.
  • Coordinates advertising efforts for fee-managed properties, as needed.
  • Serves as primary designer for Property Transition collateral. Creates marketing materials including banners, property signage, advertisements (print and digital), flyers, digital assets.
  • Provides marketing support to internal departments related to Property Transitions, i.e., Compliance, Management Team, HR etc.
  • Creates visually compelling graphics and designs for various marketing materials including brochures, flyers, posters, digital ads, social media content, and website assets.
  • Assists in the communication and maintenance of EAH Housing brand guidelines.
  • Designs and oversees the production of monument signs for our properties, ensuring that they follow branding guidelines and effectively communicate key information.
  • Organizes and labels digital assets. Implements and maintains file naming system. Manages the organization’s photography inventory and archive.
  • Plans photoshoots, including booking photographers, creating shot lists, coordinating with resident subjects and property staff, and facilitating final image delivery.

EAH Website and Social Media Branding:

    • Serves as backup webmaster; assists the Marketing Associate to maintain the organization’s website. Checks the webmaster email address daily; itemizes tasks in Asana as they come in.
    • Coordinates collateral deployment across platforms, including Mailchimp, Meta, Website, and Network for good.
    • Monitors the EAH Housing BBB (Better Business Bureau) platform. Coordinates the resolution of any complaints.
    • Coordinates print production processes for EAH Housing collateral including Impact Report, EAH brochures, newsletters, fundraising campaigns, presentations, outreach communication, promotional materials for conferences, and other collateral supporting documentation.
    • Actively participates in Injury and Illness Prevention Plan.
    • Regular and predictable attendance.
    • Other duties as assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS

Physical Requirements

  • Utilizes computer workstation for long periods throughout the day.
  • Utilizes the telephone and email for significant amount of communication.
  • Must have clear communication skills.

Work Environment

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Time is spent in EAH central office.
  • Participates in deadline-driven applications; may involve evenings and weekends.
  • May be required to travel to EAH sites, trade shows, conferences, and tabling events.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education – Bachelor’s or equivalent experience in a related field such as: Graphic Design, Communication Design, Digital Media, Media Arts, Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Business Administration, or Urban Planning; or combination of education or
  • Experience – at least 1 year of marketing design experience; design experience at an affordable property management environment, a plus.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have valid driver’s license and DMV
  • Must have access to reliable vehicle and maintain own auto insurance in accordance with EAH Housing minimum

EAH Housing conducts criminal background checks on all candidates who have received a conditional job offer.
